Megan Mayumi
Austin- Based Actor & Writer
Megan was born in Naha, Japan. Her father is from Texas and her mother is Okinawan. At the age of 2, Megan moved to Oahu, Hawai’i. After her father retired from the Marine Corps, the family settled in Sugar Land, Texas.
Megan attended the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating with a degree in English she worked as an analyst at in the entertainment industry, specializing in content and streaming data analysis.
While writing screenplays, Megan became interested in acting as a way to better understand storytelling. She currently studies film acting.
